Roll up to 420 fest in Denver’s Civic Center park this Sunday, April 20, for Mile High 420 Festival, the ultimate celebration for cannabis enthusiasts. This year’s festival features live music from hip hop artists Cordae and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, food trucks, and a special appearance by Tommy Chong. However, for the first time, there is a $25 entry fee for general admission. Don’t miss out on the festivities starting at 2 p.m.
If you’re looking for a family-friendly activity, head to Four Mile Historic Park on Saturday, April 19, for their annual Family Egg Hunt. With 20,000 eggs hidden around the park, kids can enjoy the hunt while adults can sip on mimosas and Bloody Marys. Tickets are $23 for both adults and kids, with extra costs for a printed photo with the Easter Bunny.
For those who prefer beer over cannabis, Oskar Blues Brewery is hosting the Dank Grass Fest on Saturday, April 19. Enjoy an array of IPAs paired with bluegrass music from headliner Travis Book & Friends. The event will also feature artists, vendors, and a “Shakedown Street” area. The festival is free to attend at their Longmont location.
Lastly, ski resorts are closing out the season with parties and events throughout the weekend. From Snowmass to Aspen Mountain to Eldora and Steamboat Ski Resort, there are plenty of opportunities to celebrate the end of the ski season. Costumes are encouraged, so grab your gear and hit the slopes for one last hurrah.
