Two dead and four injured after mass shooting at Washington house party

Sheriff’s deputies in Washington State responded to a large house party just south of Tacoma where chaos erupted. Two young people were killed and several others were injured in a shooting that occurred during the party. Multiple callers reported a fight breaking out in the street just before shots were fired and people began fleeing the area. The sheriff’s department found one male victim dead in the street and five others were taken to local hospitals for treatment. One of the injured victims later died from his injuries. The victims range in age from 16 to 21 years old. A young male juvenile was taken into custody in connection with the shooting. Nearby homes and vehicles were also hit by gunfire, but no other victims have been found. Several shell casings were discovered at the scene and two weapons were located. The injured victims are expected to recover from their injuries. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
