FlyteCo, an aviation-themed brewery in north Denver, has announced the closure of its original location at 4499 W. 38th Ave after six years in business. The brewery, known for its unique aviation theme and use of fresh hops flown in from the Western Slope, will be focusing on its second location in the Central Park neighborhood at the base of the former Stapleton International Airport control tower.
The owners of FlyteCo expressed gratitude to the community for their support over the years, hosting a variety of events from family gatherings to yoga sessions at the original location. The decision to close the original spot comes as the company looks to invest in FlyteCo Tower, a larger complex that opened in 2022 at 3120 Uinta St. The new location features a bowling alley, arcade games, a coffee shop, and tours to the top of the historic 164-foot tower.
The final party at the original FlyteCo location will be held on April 5th before officially closing that night. The owners described the decision as bittersweet but necessary for the future of FlyteCo. The brewery encourages fans to subscribe to their newsletter, Stuffed, for updates on their new location and offerings.
FlyteCo Craft Brewing has been a staple in the Denver community, and while the closure of the original location marks the end of an era, fans can look forward to new experiences and events at the FlyteCo Tower in the Central Park neighborhood.
