The Buffaloes were outscored in the paint, gave up 11 three-pointers, and struggled to get their offense going throughout the game. Iowa State’s Crooks and Addy Brown were standout performers, leading their team to a decisive victory. With the loss, CU’s record fell to 16-7 overall and 7-5 in the Big 12 conference standings.
Looking ahead, the Buffaloes will face Utah in their next game on the road. Despite the tough loss, CU will aim to bounce back and regroup as they continue their season in the competitive Big 12 conference.
