Colorado Business Hall of Fame to Induct Six Prominent Business Leaders on Thursday

Walter Isenberg, a prominent hotelier and real estate investor known for his work on historic landmarks in Denver, has been chosen as one of six inductees into the Colorado Business Hall of Fame in 2025. Isenberg, alongside five other business leaders and a historic laureate, will be honored at the annual induction dinner at the Hyatt Regency Denver. The selection of the inductees was based on their professional contributions to Colorado, ethical leadership, and philanthropic efforts.

Born in Kansas City, Isenberg co-founded Sage Hospitality Group in 1984 and has since led the company as CEO, overseeing the growth of four distinct companies under its umbrella. Throughout his career, Isenberg has been involved in numerous transformative projects, including the renovation of Denver’s Union Station and Dairy Block.

Isenberg’s diverse philanthropic work and community involvement have earned him several awards and recognition, including the 2023 ULI Colorado Legacy Award and the 2020 Pinnacle Award. He is also a member of Denver and Colorado’s Tourism Hall of Fame.

The Colorado Business Hall of Fame will also honor Kim Jordan, Charles S. McNeil, Anita Padilla-Fitzgerald, Earl L. Wright, and Winfield Scott Stratton. Each inductee has made significant contributions to their respective industries and communities, embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship and giving back. The event serves as a celebration of these individuals’ impact on the business landscape of Colorado.
