The family of two young Colorado sisters, Jessi and Summer Hill, who were tragically killed by their father in an apparent murder-suicide, is seeking help to cover the costs of their memorial services. The sisters were found dead alongside their father, James “Jake” Hill, after a welfare check at their home in Phippsburg. A GoFundMe page has been set up by a family friend to raise money for the memorial expenses, as the family did not have life insurance for the girls. The fundraiser has already received nearly $10,000 in donations. Tierny thanked the community for their support in a heartfelt message, expressing gratitude for the love and strength shown during this difficult time.
The community is planning a candlelight vigil for the girls and a permanent memorial, including a plaque, will be placed in a local park in honor of the sisters. Balloons with messages will also be released in memory of Jessi and Summer. The family is deeply touched by the outpouring of support and love from the community during this tragic time.
