Civil suit accuses Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping 13-year-old

In a civil lawsuit filed in New York, rappers Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs have been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at a Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000. The victim, now living in Alabama, alleges that she was raped by both men while attending the event without a ticket. Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, called the allegations a “blackmail attempt,” while Combs’ attorney denied the claims.

The lawsuit states that the alleged victim was invited to the afterparty by a limo driver who claimed to work for Combs, and that she was given a drink that made her feel woozy and lightheaded. She then went to lie down in a room with a bed, where Carter and Combs allegedly raped her while a female celebrity watched. The lawsuit claims that after the assault, the victim managed to escape.

In response to the lawsuit, Carter denied the allegations and accused the lawyer of attempting to blackmail him. Combs’ attorney also rejected the claims as publicity stunts, and denied that Combs had sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone.

The lawyer representing the alleged victim, Tony Buzbee, stated in a response that Carter was behind a previous anonymous lawsuit against him and that there have been efforts to discredit him and his clients. Combs is currently in custody in New York awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
