Broncos deactivate Drew Sanders following his removal from PUP list

Denver Broncos edge rusher Drew Sanders will have to wait at least 13 more days for his on-field return after being inactive against the Cleveland Browns. Sanders, who was moved off the physically-unable-to-perform list last week, has been recovering from an Achilles tendon tear. Cornerback Riley Moss was also ruled out, allowing rookie Kris Abrams-Draine to be activated for the first time.

Rookie Nick Gargiulo, who was elevated from the practice squad, was among the other inactives for the Broncos. The team will wear blue jerseys and pants with white helmets for the game. The Broncos have a 1-3 record this season when wearing blue pants in various combinations.

The full list of inactives for the Broncos-Browns game includes Frank Crum, Nick Gargiulo, Riley Moss, Drew Sanders, Enyi Uwazurike, and emergency quarterback Zach Wilson for the Broncos, while the Browns have Chigozie Anusiem, D’Onta Foreman, James Houston, Sam Kamara, Cedric Tillman, Juan Thornhill, and Jedrick Wills Jr. inactive. These roster decisions will impact the team’s performance on the field in Monday night’s game.
