Family Seeks Answers After Jefferson County Woman’s Weeklong Disappearance

Press Release

Search Continues for Missing Littleton Woman, Jayna Lang

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — The family of 46-year-old Jayna Lang is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating her after she went missing on November 24. Lang informed her family she was heading to the Outlets at Silverthorne, but since then, no one has seen or heard from her.

Lang’s brother, Eric Horvat, expressed the family’s distress, stating, “Never, never did we ever think that she would be gone, and we don’t know where, where she’s at.” According to Horvat, the last communication from Lang was a text sent at 11:17 AM on the day of her disappearance, confirming her plans to visit the factory shops. She failed to report to work that following Monday, sparking concern among her family and colleagues at a Littleton pet grooming business.

Horvat noted that Lang, who is known for her love of the outdoors, routinely communicates with her family. The sudden lack of contact is alarming, making her disappearance highly suspicious. “My aunt and her talk every single day; for my aunt not to hear from her, it’s very, very suspicious,” he added.

Lang was last seen in her white 2016 Toyota 4Runner, with Colorado license plate: JAYNA. Her family is worried that her car might be stranded off the road, and they are urging anyone who might have traveled in the area over the weekend to keep an eye out.

The Park County Sheriff’s Office has issued a public appeal for information regarding Lang’s whereabouts on social media. Her family is hopeful she will return in time for the holidays, pleading, “We miss her. Tell her to come home. Give us a call. Let us know you’re okay.”

Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to reach out to local authorities.
